Among 18 Puranas, vaastu finds its reference in Matsya Purarna, Skandh Purana, Agni Purana, Garur Purana, Naarad Purana, Vaayu Purana, Varaha Purana and Bhavishya Purana.

Some other ancient text available on vastu are: Vishkarma Prakash, Rajavallabh Vaastu Shastra, Vraha Sahita & Shilp Ratnam.

Vishkarma says this in VAASTU SHASTRA:
“This science is complete in itself. Happiness to the whole world it can bring. All the four benefits it bestows on you. Rightful living, money, fulfillment of desires and bliss are all available in this world itself.”
